Join the Center for International and Comparative Law for its next Distinguished International Law Speaker series, "How to prepare yourself for international legal practice if you have not had a chance to intern abroad?" featuring SLU LAW alums Stephanie Gwillim, associate director, legal counsel (EMEA) at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc., and Askan Deutsch, partner at FPS Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB, Hamburg.
Stephanie Gwillim worked as an international healthcare attorney before joining BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. as its associate director of legal counsel. Askan Deutsch's legal practice focuses on consulting and representing international clients in all areas of intellectual property law, including the law of unfair competition, trademarks, design rights, copyrights, patents, utility models and IT law.
This session will focus on what law students should do during law school to prepare for international business practice. Zoom link
