DPS & DEA Takeback Week

Saturday, 24 April, 2021

This week, the Department of Public Safety will once again partner with the DEA for the annual Take Back Day. This is event is an opportunity for anyone to turn in any expired, unwanted, and unused prescription medication.

Drug abuse and overdoses happen too often, and this number has only increased during the COVID-19 pandemic. By participating, people can help combat the abuse of prescription drugs. People are encouraged to double-check medicine cabinets for prescriptions that are no longer needed. It also is encouraged to reach out to family members to do the same. Thanks for your participation!

All SLU faculty, students, staff, and any member of the public can drop off unused medications at one of our collection sites below.
