Water is vital to our very existence, and yet it faces persistent and critical challenges, from climate change to aging infrastructure. Armed with the passion and expertise to address these issues head-on, Saint Louis University launched the Water Access, Technology, Environment and Resources (WATER) Institute in June 2020, with the mission of serving humanity through water research and innovation. Join the SLU community for an interactive online event to learn more about this initiative and celebrate the first year with the WATER Institute.
During this event, you will have the opportunity to:
Meet the Directors of the WATER Institute
Hear from students working on impactful water research
Embark on a virtual "behind-the-scenes" tour of the new interdisciplinary water research labs with Sofie Liang, the Institute's Lab Technician
Ask questions to the WATER Institute team
Engage in optional virtual networking at the end of the event to meet and mingle with other water and environment professionals
This event is free and open to the public! The event link will be emailed to registered attendees on Thursday, June 24. If you have any questions, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
