Third annual Global Mental Health Research Poster Reception!
Students enrolled in the Anthropology course Global Mental Health (ANTH 2460) will present their findings from semester-long research projects about the social and cultural forces shaping mental health around the world. Explore six research posters about topics such as depression, neurodevelopmental disorders, disordered eating, intergenerational trauma, and universal mental health care with some focusing specifically on how global migration shapes mental health. Cultural foci include Mexico, Japan, China, Cambodia, the US, and Norway.
The event is sponsored by the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. We will have locally produced treats from Whisk Bakeshop for visitors to take with them.
Location: Adorjan Hall Room 142
