The University Counseling Center will host the LGBTQ Support Group for students who identify within the LGBTQ community. The last meeting for the fall semester is at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15.
The University Counseling Center strives to create a space that respects all individuals within the SLU community, especially regarding sexual orientation and gender identity.
Those who are interested in participating in the support group should email Therese M. Jacques, licensed professional counselor, at the University Counseling Center, email@example.com, to receive location information. Jacques is an ally to the SLU LGBTQ community and is SafeZone-trained.
The LGBTQ Support Group is meant to be a safe and comfortable space for discussion and building community. As such, all information including location will be kept confidential for the benefit of students who do not wish to share their identities.
