Mass of the Holy Spirit

This year's liturgy will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1, in Saint Francis Xavier College Church 

The Mass of the Holy Spirit is an tradition at Jesuit schools and universities worldwide, dating back to 1548, when the initial Mass was celebrated at the first Jesuit school in Messina, Sicily. 

Campus Ministry encourages staff, students, and faculty to join this wonderful celebration of the new academic year. With all of its challenges and joys, it is a time for SLU to give thanks together for all of our blessings.
