Other Dates For This Event:
The Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies here at SLU is excited to host the Ninth Annual Symposium on Medieval and Renaissance Studies.
The symposium provides a convenient summer venue in North America for scholars in all disciplines to present papers, organize sessions, participate in roundtables, and engage in interdisciplinary discussion. The goal of the symposium is to promote serious scholarly investigation on all topics and in all disciplines of the medieval and early modern world.
Hosted by the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies, the Symposium is held from June 21-23 on the beautiful midtown campus of Saint Louis University. The plenary speakers for this year will be David Abulafia, of Cambridge University, and Barbara Rosenwein, of Loyola University, Chicago. Being in the middle of a large, vibrant city such as St. Louis means that there's plenty to see and do in your downtime and plenty of great places to eat!
