'Grapevine Biology and You’ Information Session

As part of a recently funded project focused on perennial crop agriculture and grapevines, research collaborator Peter Cousins from E. & J. Gallo Winery is coming to SLU to talk about paid internship opportunities in the grape and wine industry in California.

Cousins will present "Grapevine Biology and You: Science Adventures and Vineyards and Wineries"  at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, in Rooms 253A and B of Busch Student Center.The presentation will be geared specifically towards students majoring in biology, chemistry, and engineering  who want to learn more about job possibilities in the grape and wine industry.

Training obtained at Gallo is also relevant for the grape and wine industry in Missouri, which is a $1.2 billion/year industry growing at a rate of 16% per year (Stonebridge Research 2010).
