Bringing MLS to the Lou

St. Louis has long been a soccer city, but bringing Major League Soccer to the Lou was no easy task. After a long and winding road, soccer fans and proud St. Louisans alike rejoiced in August 2019 when MLS announced the city would be home to the league’s 28th franchise. Carolyn Kindle, longtime president of the Enterprise Holdings Foundation, successfully led the ownership group with deep roots in St. Louis business, philanthropy and soccer to land the city’s first professional Major League Soccer team in August 2019.

Join the Chaifetz School on October 6 to hear Carolyn Kindle share how she led a group of St. Louis entrepreneurs and philanthropists to professional soccer to St. Louis. Kindle will discuss opportunities the club is creating for the region and how St. Louis CITY SC is positioning itself to become one of the league’s premier organizations " on and off the field.
