Join the SLU IRB and meet with the SLU's representative from WIRB/Copernicus Group.
The session will be held 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., Jan. 12, in the Learning Resources Center (LRC), Room 110.
Troy Brinkman, J.D., MA, CIP, senior associate director, Institutions, WIRB, will share important updates (including a brief run-through of the newest SMART Form and MyConnexus), and information regarding WIRB's process (what happens after SLU's internal vetting) and continuing oversight of the research (Amendments, Continuing Review, Reports, etc.). Brinkman will also field participant questions.
Western IRB (WIRB) is a commercial IRB under contract with Saint Louis University to review eligible industry-sponsored, multi-center clinical trials. WIRB and Copernicus Group IRB (CGIRB) united in 2013; thus, eligible studies include WIRB-CGIRB shared single review service (SRS) reviews.
