Friday, 22 September, 2023

The Institute of Translational Neuroscience at Saint Louis University, in collaboration with the Washington University Pain Center and the Center for Clinical Pharmacology, a joint venture between the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy and the Washington University Department of Anesthesiology, is pleased to announce the inaugural Saint Louis Translational Pain Research Forum (STL-TPRF).

To highlight the growing collaborative pain research community in St. Louis, the STL-TPRF will bring together an outstanding group of scientists from the MidWest and NIH working across the pain translational research spectrum. Our keynote speakers are Dr. Walter Koroshetz (NIH/NINDS) and Dr. Vivianne Tawfik (Stanford University).

The STL-TPRF will kick off with a keynote address and reception on Friday, Sept. 22, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., followed by a full day of talks and posters on Saturday, Sept. 23.

Planning is underway. If you have any questions, reach out to Emily Helm at emily.helm@health.slu.edu. There is a registration fee for this event, $25: Students, Trainees, Post Docs and research faculty & $100: PI's and Faculty. This fee covers both days.
