Bedelia Richards, Ph.D., a renowned race scholar and educator, is hosting a two-part workshop series for undergraduate and graduate SLU faculty. Part two of this free workshop series will assist faculty in incorportating their racetalk skills in their teaching. Faculty will learn how to improve their students' racetalk skills and gain strategies to support all students in engaging in cross-racial dialogues. Attendees will have the opportunity to develop lessons plans and classroom activities designed to teach cross racial dialogue skills to students.
Registration for the workshop is open to all SLU graduate and undergraduate faculty. Seating for this workshop will be limited to 50 participants.
