Saint Louis University invites you to celebrate the launch of the Center for Research on Global Catholicism (CRGC) on Wednesday, Sept. 20, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a cocktail reception at the Samuel Cupples House.
This new research center aims to make St. Louis an international hub for scholarship at the nexus of Catholicism and culture by bringing together world-class researchers and area archivists. The CRGC is a major interdisciplinary humanities initiative launched with support from the SLU Research Institute.
Opening comments from University President Fred P. Pestello, Ph.D., and CRGC Director Mary Dunn, Ph.D., will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will shed light on how the Center is building new connections across the region and transforming research on culture and Catholicism.
Space is limited. More information can be found on the CRGC website.
