Dance Festival: Phases of Motion

The annual Saint Louis University Dance Festival returns to the Xavier Hall Main Stage Theatre December 1-2, 2023.  This event is sponsored by the Department of Fine and Performing Arts and will feature SLU student dance groups Phases of Motion, Elevation Irish Dance, and Sazón.

Phases of Motion will perform on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.  Phases of Motion is a student-led dance company that choreographs its own dances and performs at its own biannual showcase, as well as various events on campus. The styles of dances performed include jazz, lyrical, modern, tap, ballet, hip hop, and musical theater.

Admission for the Dance Festival is free and open to the public.  Doors open 30 minutes prior to each performance.

The Xavier Hall Main Stage is located on the ground floor of Xavier Hall on the SLU campus at 3733 West Pine Mall, one block east of Vandeventer Boulevard and one block south of Lindell Boulevard. Parking for performances at this venue is available in the Queen's Daughters Hall lot located at 3730 Lindell Blvd.
