The Saint Louis University Lions Club will hold a Public Health Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 1, in Tegeler Hall.
The event is free and will bring available health resources, such as screenings, health education, public health advocacy and much more to the SLU campus.
The Public Health Fair will offer the following valuable components:-
- Booths occupied by local organizations and coalitions that promote a greater level of public health by tackling relevant issues in our community.
- Speakers who will not only give valuable insight on public health challenges in our community, but how regular citizens can get involved in solving them.
- Screenings and healthy activities that will range from hearing and vision screening all the way to healthy diet and exercise education.
- A research symposium where SLU students and faculty of will present their research and provide avenues for students to get involved in research.
