'Silent Sky' at the University Theatre

Thursday, 02 March, 2017

The University Theatre at Saint Louis University will present “Silent Sky” by Lauren Gunderson March 2-5.

Based on the true story of Henrietta Swan Levitt’s ground breaking work with Cepheid variable stars at the Harvard Observatory, the play shows the struggles and limitations of female scientists in the early 1900s.

Performances are at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, March 2-4 and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 5, which will be ASL interpreted. There will be a pre-show discussion at 6:30 p.m. prior to the Thursday, March 2, performance.

Ticket information, theatre location and parking information can be found at slu.edu/utheatre.
