The Spring Ignatian Lunch, “Moving Forward: Living the Mission in Difficult Times,” will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, in the ballroom of St. Francis Xavier College Church.
Members of the University community have experienced difficult times nationally, during the divisive political election season; regionally, with the racial unrest following the Michael Brown shooting; and most recently, on campus, with the loss of colleagues and programs necessitated by the University’s deficit.
In this light, a panel of three staff and faculty will discuss how the University’s Jesuit mission serves them as they continue to move forward.
Panelists include: Regina Walton (diversity and community engagement); Peter Garvin (public safety) and Cristina McGroarty (nursing). Roundtable dialogue will follow their sharing.
The Ignatian Lunch is sponsored by the Office of Mission and Identity.
