Anne Lester, Ph.D., associate professor of history at the University of Colorado Boulder, will present"Sacred Histories and Holy Things: Liturgy, Narrative and Ritual in the Aftermath of the Fourth Crusade" at 3 p.m. Friday, March 24, in Room 142 at Adorjan Hall.

Lester’s talk will explore the adaptation of religious practices in the aftermath of the capture of Constantinople by crusaders.

A reception will follow the presentation. The event is open to all and free of charge.

Part of an ongoing series sponsored by the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies (CMRS), the Crusades Studies Forum promotes discussion of the latest trends in crusades scholarship.
