Enjoy an evening of music, dance, and delicious Latin American and Caribbean cuisine at the Atlas kick-off event from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 2, in the auditorium at the Center for Global Citizenship.

The Latin American Studies program will also highlight their work with the Pulsera Project. The Pulsera Projects sell bracelets made in Central America. The funds raised benefit countless Central Americans, raising money for scholarships, secondary education programs, human rights issues, environmental projects, youth shelters and social enterprises, in addition to sustaining employment for nearly 200 artisans in Nicaragua and Guatemala.
SLU student Paul Sylvester, will play steel pan (drums) and the SLU theatre program will be participating with life-size puppets.
