3672 West Pine Mall St. Louis, MO63108 United States
A panel discussion intending to give a holistic overview of what people have done and can do to be involved in refugee immigration into St. Louis will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 6, at the Center for Global Citizenship.
Our guests are St. Louis-based professionals who have all involved themselves in immigration with very different approaches:
James Hacking of Hacking Law practice, a St. Louis-based immigration law firm;
Sarah Kendzior, a freelance journalist and expert witness who has investigated and published on the crisis;
Dzemal Bijedic, a chaplain with the St. Louis Police Department and founder of House of Goods;
A representative of the Missouri chapter of the Syrian American Medical Society, which provides care for refugees in St. Louis.
Following a discussion period, the panel will field questions from the audience.
