'Upcycle with Herbs'

Graduate Students from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics will host a class, “Upcycle with Herbs,” from noon to 2 p.m., June 17, at the department’s teaching garden on the corner of South Compton Avenue and Rutger Street.

Class participants will re-purpose vintage containers to hold up to three herbs of their choosing. The class will discuss herbs, their medicinal properties and their uses. Those taking part can also enjoy craft cocktails or non-alcoholic beverages. Some sweets and snacks will be provided and participants may bring their own.

 

Space is limited to 25 participants.  The class fee is $20 per person.
