Career Services will hold the 2017 Fall Career and Graduate School Fair 2017 from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, in the Wool Ballrooms at Busch Student Center.
All Saint Louis University students and alumni are invited to attend to network and make connections with 140 plus recruiting organizations.
The Fall Career and Graduate School Fair is a good place to develop relationships with future employers, discuss potential internships, demonstrate your communication skills and decide your career path. More recently, organizations have started recruiting for May jobs and internships in the Fall, and are happy to talk with freshman through alumni Billikens.
Students wanting help to prepare for the career fair can attend Rezumania, Career Fair Prep Workshops or schedule a resume critique. Billikens attending the fair will not return empty handed as the Wool Ballrooms will be full of organizations searching for SLU students to recruit. Those searching for jobs should wear professional attire and come with multiple copies of their resumes, while business casual is recommended for students making connections.
Bookbags and coats can be checked at the BSC front desk during the event, located on the second floor next to the bookstore.
The SLU Career Fair Plus app, is helpful for fair preparation and day-of information like attending organizations, floor plan and event details. This full-featured iPhone, iPad, and Android app puts the power to prepare for the career and graduate school fair in students’ hands. SLU Career Fair Plus is available for free at the App Store and Google Play Store depending on the user’s device, and also accessible with an online version.
Event sponsors include Varsity Tutors, GOJET Airlines, U.S. Bank, Deloitte, Peak Campus, Edward Jones, Abstrakt Marketing Group, Cushman & Wakefield, BioMerieux Inc. and Booz Allen Hamilton.
