The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience will hold a Grand Rounds from 8 to 9 a.m., Sept. 21, in Lecture Room 3, Schwitalla Hall.
William Redden, M.D., will present “Neurogenesis and Neuroplasticity: Emerging Treatment Options for Cognitive Decline.”
Redden completed his training in geriatric psychiatry at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine and specializes in psychiatric care for geriatric patients suffering from delirium, depression, dementia and other degenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s dementia. He also works with patients coping with the psychiatric aspects of HIV/AIDS.
