The Department of Neurology will hold a Grand Rounds from 8 to 9 a.m., Sept. 21, in Lecture Hall 1, Schwitalla Hall.
Saleem Abdulrauf, M.D., will present “At the Frontier of Neurosurgery.” Abdulrauf is professor and chair of the Department of Neurosurgery. He is the director of the Center for Cerebrovascular and Skull Base Surgery and neurosurgeon-in-chief at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital. Abdulrauf received his medical degree from SLU in 1991. He was a surgical intern at Henry Ford Hospital and later attended the Yale University School of Medicine for a vascular neurosurgical fellowship. Abdulrauf attended the University of Arkansas School of Medicine for a fellowship in skull base neurosurgery. He has been featured in St. Louis Magazine and received other honors for his work.
