Saint Louis University will host its annual staff appreciation event, Cannonball Picnic, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at the Medical Center Stadium.
In case of rain, the picnic will move to the Hickory East Garage.
Staff members who wish to attend the celebration will not be required to use vacation hours or leave time to participate.
As part of the event’s casual atmosphere, staff members are encouraged to dress down if their work environment and schedule permit.
The annual picnic recognizes the contributions SLU staff members makes to University life. It gets its name from the battlefield injury St. Ignatius Loyola suffered in 1521.
Shuttle services will be provided between both ends of campus and from Scott Hall between 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Reciprocal parking will be available in the Hickory Garage.
Attendees who register in advance will receive lunch as well as the opportunity to win prizes. In order to be eligible for a chance to win, attendees must RSP by Friday, Oct. 20. The Division of Human Resources asks all attendees to RSVP in order to ensure an accurate food count.
