Ignatian Lunch

Saint Francis Xavier College Church Ballroom

3628 Lindell Blvd
St. Louis, MO 63108
United States

This fall’s Ignatian Lunch, “The Vocation of Work, How We Live It,” will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, in the College Church Ballroom at St. Francis Xavier College Church.

Amid the unrest and questions inherent in today’s culture, the St. Louis area and the SLU campus, this lunch considers what keeps the University community focused on its work at this Jesuit university? There is a higher purpose, a greater good at SLU, and it is more than the work of any one employee. The Office of Mission and Identity invites University staff and faculty to the lunch to consider the vocation of work, in light of the vocation of this university. The lunch will be an opportunity to take time to reflect on each person’s individual gifts, passions and their intersection with Jesuit values.

There is no charge, but reservations are required.
