The Women’s Commission will host Yoga Stretch as its October program on Wednesday, Oct. 25, from 11 a.m. to noon, in the Simon Recreation Center’s Multipurpose Room 1.
The session will include an informational overview of campus recreation and wellness and introductions to SLU’s recreational facilities, programs and services by Eric Anderson. A free, 30-minute gentle yoga stretch class will follow, led by Alison Hyde. A complimentary smoothie will be offered.
Participants will earn 35 Vitality points and should dress comfortably for yoga activity. As yoga is typically performed barefoot or in socks, shoes will likely need to be removed.
