'Craft of Writing: Grants and Proposals'

The English department and Inkwell will host Lisa Thorp, the Saint Louis Public Library’s grant and resource librarian for a workshop, “Craft of Writing: Grants and Proposals,” from 5 to 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, in Room 142, Adorjan Hall.

Thorp will present on resources, tips and strategies for writing successful grant proposals. Following the formal presentation, students will be able to workshop their own proposals and to discuss their approaches to seeking grant funding.

The session is part of a new series sponsored by the English department and Inkwell. Prior to the start of the workshop at 5 p.m., Inkwell will hold a social hour from 4:30 to 5 p.m.
