The Department of Neurology will hold a Neurology Grand Rounds from 8 to 9 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26, in Lecture Hall 1, Schwitalla Hall.
Florian Thomas, M.D., Ph.D., will present, “Returning to Work and Staying Employed When One Lives with a Major Disability.” Thomas serves as professor and founding chair of neurology at Seton Hall-Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. Board certified in spinal cord medicine, neurology and neural repair and rehabilitation, Thomas chairs the Advisory Board of the State of Missouri Spinal Cord Injury/Disease Research Program and serves as editor-in-chief of the Journal of Spinal Cord Medicine. Thomas serves on advisory boards for the National MS Society, the Hereditary Neuropathy Foundation, and the St. Louis Center for Independent Living "Paraquad."
