The Department of Neurology will present a Neurology Grand Rounds from 8 to 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, in Lecture Hall 1, Schwitalla Hall.
Sean Goretzke, M.D., will present “The Evolving Science of Sport-Related Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy.” Goretzke treats pediatric patients for neurological conditions, specializing in cerebral palsy and concussions. He provides both inpatient and outpatient neurology care. Goretzke is an assistant professor of child neurology and interim chairman in the Department of Neurology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Child Neurology Society.
