The Department of Fine and Performing Arts, in partnership with New Music Circle, will present a special performance by St. Louis native John Wiese at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11.
The evening will feature a solo performance by Wiese as well as his “Composition for St. Louis Ensemble,” which will include 18 additional musicians.
Wiese is known for the approach he takes to music which involves manipulating, cutting and arranging sounds electronically his compositions.
The performance will take place at the University Theatre in Xavier Hall and admission is free with a SLU ID. Advance tickets for non-SLU patrons can be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets.
Parking will be available for the concert in the Queen’s Daughters Hall Lot, 3730 Lindell Blvd.
