The Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures will screen, The Motorcycle Diaries (Diarios de motocicleta) at 7:15 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 14, in Room 0200, Morrissey Hall.
The Motorcycle Diaries, directed by Walter Salles, stars Gael García Bernal as a young Ernesto "Che" Guevara alongside his friend and travel companion, Alberto Granado (Rodrigo de la Serna). It is based on the true story of when the two friends began a trip from their native Argentina, and traveled up the coast of South America on a quest for adventure. What they found on their journey had a profound impact on the young travelers.
The language of the film is Spanish, and it will be shown with English subtitles.
