Careers Services will present a workshop, “Budgeting After College,” that focuses on learning how to budget and save for life after graduation. Budgeting is important for large purchases such as buying a car or small purchases like adopting a dog. The workshop will take place from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, in Room 352, Busch Student Center.
This event is part of the Workplace Transition Series to help prepare students for life after graduation. These sessions aim to balance education with interaction, so SLU students can feel more confident entering the ‘real world.’ Attending three fourths of the sessions qualifies students for fun prizes that will help with their transition into the workplace.
