Career Services will host an employer panel, “How to Make a Positive Impact at Your First Job,” from 5 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, in Room 352, Busch Student Center.
The panel will give advice based in real world experiences on how students can launch themselves into successful careers as first jobs are the building blocks for long-term success. As a result, students should seek to make a positive impact there for future references.
This event is part of the Workplace Transition Series to help prepare students for life after graduation. These sessions aim to balance education with interaction, so SLU students can feel more confident entering the ‘real world.’ Attending three fourths of the sessions qualifies students for fun prizes that will help with their transition into the workplace.
