Information Technology Services (ITS), in collaboration with the Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR), will host two Brown Bag presentations regarding SLU’s FISMA environment.
The presentations will be beneficial for researchers competing for grants and contracts from certain federal organizations, such as the National Science Foundation (NSF) or the National Institutes of Health (NIH), that might require researchers to abide by regulations set forth in the Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002 (FISMA). SLU’s virtual FISMA-compliant computing environment and infrastructure provides highly-secured computing-servers, database instances, and data storage. It ensures the protection of highly-sensitive research data (social security numbers, electronic health records, etc.) created, used or stored by the University’s research departments.
The Brown Bags will be held on:
Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m., Room 374, Wool Center
