The City of St. Louis’s Citizen Advisory Committee will hold an informational panel on community policing in St. Louis from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7, at Il Monastero.
The panel will include community engagement experts and local law enforcement officials. Rodney Monroe, former police chief from Charlotte, North Carolina, will lead the panel and discussion. Monroe also served as police chief for Macon, Georgia, and Richmond, Virginia. He is an expert on community policing and took part in President Barack Obama’s Taskforce on 21st Century Policing.
The public is invited to attend the event.
