Dhiraj Yadav, M.D., professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, will deliver the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology’s annual Frank R. Burton, M.D., Lecture on Thursday, Feb. 22, and Friday, Feb. 23, in Auditorium C, Learning Resources Center.
Yadav will give two talks. The first, at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22, is “Lessons Learned from the NAPS2 Studies.” It will take place in Auditorium C, Learning Resources Center. The talk’s learning objectives are:
Role of alcohol, tobacco and genetic factors in chronic pancreatitis.
Racial and sex differences in the susceptibility and clinical profile of chronic pancreatitis.
Patient and disease characteristics associated with diabetes mellitus in chronic pancreatitis.
Role of endoscopic sphincterotomy in patients with idiopathic recurrent acute pancreatitis.
