A TED Talk: “No One Should Die Because They Live Too Far From a Doctor,” is from noon to 12:50 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22, in the Pitlyk Auditorium A, Learning Resources Center.
The talk by physician Raj Panjabi, M.D., will focus on the theme that while illness is universal, access to care is not. Panjabi is building the Community Health Academy, a global platform that aims to modernize how community health workers learn vital skills, creating jobs along the way.
A discussion about the TED Talk will follow the viewing.
