On Thursday, Feb. 1, Saint Louis University, along with Georgetown University, Loyola University -Chicago, and others in the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) network, will host a Call-In Day to support a Clean Dream Act.
As Congress discusses options for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients, proposals also include increased boarder security and a decrease in legal options for migration.
The call-in day will be held between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. in Suite 204, Wuller Hall. Those taking part will be provided with scripts and are asked to call their senators or congressional representatives asking for a Clean Dream Act that does not include harmful measures.
