More than 60 years ago, SLU professor Claude Heithaus, S.J., gave a homily that changed SLU history.
As part of the celebration of SLU’s bicentennial and Black History Month, learn how that Sunday sermon altered not only SLU’s future but also Heithaus’s life as part of “SLU Legends and Lore” on Thursday, Feb. 15. The talk will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in the second floor gallery, Pius XII Memorial Library.
Archivist emeritus John Waide will tell Heithaus’s story.
