The Department of Neurology will hold a Grand Rounds from 8 to 9 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22, in Lecture Hall 1, Schwitalla Hall.
Michael De Georgia, M.D., will present, “Brain Tissue Oxygen Monitoring in Neurocritical Care.”
De Georgia is the director of the Reinberger Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a professor of neurology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine where he holds the Maxeen Stone and John A. Flower Endowed Chair in Neurology. De Georgia is an internationally recognized leader in the fields of neurological intensive care and stroke.
