The SLU Vascular and Interventional Radiology section is holding its first Vascular and Interventional Radiology Research and Interesting Case Competition on from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, in the Radiology Department conference room on the second floor of Desloge Towers, SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital.
Saint Louis University medical students, residents, and VIR Fellows will showcase their original research projects and/or interesting clinical case reports in vascular and interventional radiology to the SLU medical community.
Trainees will be given seven minutes to orally deliver a slide presentation of their research project or clinical case and an additional two minutes for questions and answers.
Judges will evaluate the trainees’ interest and knowledge in their research and/or clinical case. Winners will be announced at the closing ceremony of the competition day. Prizes will be awarded for original research and clinical cases.
