“Empowering Women in Communication, Journalism, and Media Studies,” a speaker series hosted by the Psi Theta Communication Honor Society, will hold the final session of the three-part series at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, in Room 124A, Center for Global Citizenship. The event is will include women in leadership roles at a variety of organizations, including news agencies, non-profits and creative agencies.
The series is open to the entire campus and aims to offer students an opportunity to learn about how successful women in communication fields navigated their career paths. The speakers will share notable experiences in their fields, talk about their journeys to the positions they now hold and discuss how they overcame obstacles to achieve success.
