The Staff Advisory Committee (SAC) will hold its August 2016 meeting from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18, in Schwitalla Lecture Hall #1 on the south campus. Parking is available in the Hickory East or West garages.
This meeting’s monthly highlight is an update on the Operational Excellence Program by the steering committee.
Additionally, each year SAC members and guests are invited to bring school supplies to the August meeting for a School Supply Drive donated to area K-12 schools.
Supplies include, but are not limited to: paper, pens (blue, black and red), pencils (#2 regular pencils or beginner pencils), markers (washable color markers), crayons, erasers (pink block, white block pencil top), glue sticks, glue in a bottle, scissors, pocket folders, spiral bound paper, notebook paper, rulers, color pencils, highlighters, white board markers, white board erasers, hand sanitizer, bleach wipes and tissues. Bring any new items with you to the meeting.
SAC members are expected to provide input on various issues; it is the obligation of members to attend enough meetings to remain sufficiently informed of the issues. Notification of absence is not required. Membership is renewed each year. If you have not renewed you membership, please renew here.
Any staff member not belonging to a collective bargaining unit may become a SAC member, and all SLU non-union staff are invited to attend meetings. Since SAC is sanctioned by the University administration, meeting attendance is to be considered paid time. Membership applications can be found on the SAC website or here.
