What is Idolatry & Why We Need It Today: A Jewish View by Rabbi Dr. Eugene Korn

Rabbi Dr. Eugene Korn will speak at 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, Pere Marquette Gallery of DuBourg Hall.

Dr. Korn is the Academic Director and co-founder of The Center for Jewish-Christian Understanding and Cooperation in Israel and Senior Research Fellow at Beit Morasha of Jerusalem’s Institute for Religion and Society. He was ordained in Israel and earned a Ph.D. in moral philosophy at Columbia University. He has taught at Yeshiva, Columbia and Seton Hall Universities.

His studies focus on ethics in Halakhah, and interfaith relations.
