SLU is hosting a mini-Summit, “Re-imagining Community/University Partnerships for Community Development in St. Louis,” from 1 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Il Monastero.
Attendees will include faculty and students from local universities as well as community leaders representing several SLACO (St. Louis Association of Community Organizations) member organizations.
Jonathan Smith, Ph.D., will give SLU welcome, and Dana Malkus, J.D., of the School of Law, will contribute to a panel discussion on Saint Louis University's Legal Clinics and the SLACO Vacancy Partnership.
Dan Pitera, of the Detroit Collaborative Design Center, will be the summit’s keynote speaker.
The event is free and open to the public. Online registration is through Eventbrite and available here.
