Responsible Conduct of Research Workshop

Wednesday, 30 November, 2016

The final fall workshop in the Office of Research Integrity, Division of Research Administration's RCR workshop series,  ‘Mentoring: How to Choose the Best Mentor and Be the Best Mentee,’ will be held 2 to 4 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 30, in Busch Student Center 352, offered by Stephanie SolomonCargill.

The RCR workshops are open to everyone at SLU, but are of particular interest for members of the research community, especially those who are trainees.

Researchers should be aware that all graduate and undergraduate students, post-doctoral fellows and trainees paid with research funds from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) are required to attend a minimum of eight (8) hours of face-to-face RCR training and complete RCR online modules through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI).

Principal investigators should ensure that any students, fellows and/or trainees working on projects where they are paid with NIH/NSF funds have met these requirements prior to the end of the grant-funded activity.
