Charles H. Parker, Ph.D., professor of history, Eugene A. Hotfelder Professor of Humanities, chair of the history department, Saint Louis University, will present this lecture at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, in the Center for Global Citizenship Seminar Room 124A.
The recent global turn in historical scholarship has reinvigorated established fields of research and provided new perspectives to longstanding questions. What are the new developments in global history? What are the opportunities and challenges for research? What are the prospects for new lines of inquiry?
