Stephanie Solomon Cargill, Ph.D., and Ted Malstrom, Ph.D., chair of the University’s Conlicts of Interest Committee, will lead a Responsible Conduct in Research (RCR) workshop on conflict of interest at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12, in Room 113, Learning Resources Center.
Attendees will be provided with a background on the different types of conflicts of interest they may face in research, as well as the different strategies they, and the University, employ to manage them.
The National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) require that all graduate and undergraduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and trainees supported by research funds from NIH or NSF must complete training in Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR).
Register for the workshop here.
