Eighth Annual Primary Care Research Symposium

The Eighth Annual Primary Care Research Symposium, hosted by the Departments of Family and Community Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and College for Public Health and Social Justice, will be held at noon on Wednesday, April 17, in the Pitlyk Auditorium, Learning Resources Center.

This year’s symposium will feature a keynote presentation by Kurt Kroenke, M.D. Kroenke is the director of education and training programs and a research scientist at the Regrenstrief Institute at the Indiana University School of Medicine. An internist by training, Kroenke has been the recipient of nine National Institute of Health (NIH) grant awards and was a key contributor to the teams that developed and validated the PHQ-9 and GAD-7.

Symposium schedule:

Noon to 1:15 p.m. " Keynote presentation with lunch served to those who RSVP.

1:15 to 2:30 p.m. " Student, resident, and fellow poster session.

2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. " Faculty research presentations.
